Long Pond weekend was a blast! Many thanks on behalf of the 15 participants to Maureen for planning everything!
EGSAC meeting Oct 1st:
1) Lord of the Rings Exhibit at Museum of Science
Oct 15 we'll head over from peer hour at 6:30, bring your student ID.
Email Emily (emilyva@MIT.EDU) if you/your guests are interested in coming
to help her plan, or just show up at peer hour!
2) Draw up T-shirt designs for an EAPS or Peer Hour shirt!
Give Maureen (mlong@mit.edu) your designs, and we will discuss/vote on
them over 2 peer hours. Win free movie tickets to any show if your design
is picked!
3) Insurance
I am working to put together a renter's insurance clinic, and to find
out about getting EAPS subsidized laptop insurance for people who use
personal laptops for research.
4) Traveling/Progressive dinner party
See your fellow EAPS friends' homes and have tasty snacks as you travel
from place to place.... Ben will give us some possible dates to choose
from.
5) other Peer Hour events
Blair will be scheduling a slide show where you can showcase your top
5 spectacular/funny/embarrassing photos (organized by Chris s-g), a photo
scavenger hunt contest (Taylor), and the third-annual chili cook off (Julie
and Kate)
6) Movie (and pastries?) outing for The Life Aquatic
